Established as a SATB mixed choir in 1986, the Kanata Choral Society has established itself as a group of dedicated volunteers willing to work at their love of choral music to bring established and new choral works to audiences in the Kanata region of Ottawa-Carleton.

Now in their 25th season, the singers continue to entertain audiences with a wide variety of choral repertoire from the Baroque period to contemporary music. The choir enjoys working with some of the region's finest soloists , instrumentalists and clinicians.

There is one annual fee, which includes membership, music and two tickets for each concert.

The choir sponsors workshops to help improve some aspect of the choir's overall performance. Members are expected to participate for a small fee to help the choir grow musically and artistically.

Rehearsals begin on Monday, September 12, 2011 and again on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 7:30 pm in St.Paul's Anglican Church, 20 Young Road, Kanata

This will be the second season under the musical direction of Scott Auchinleck. Click here to see his bio.
