Singers' resources

During the last 23 years the Kanata Choral Society has been a part of the cultural scene in the Kanata area. The 45-member choir gives 3 major performances each year and has taken part in other community events including "The Volunteer Recognition Award" ceremonies, "Unisong 2000" and at Christmas time has sung in the lobby of the NAC.

The choir can also be heard during a joint concert with
the Ottawa Hungarian Choir and
the Chancel Choir of the Unitarian Congregation
on Saturday, April 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
in the Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa, 20 Cleary Avenue.

Rehearsals start again on Monday, January 4, 2010. Rehearsals are held from 7:30 to 10:00 pm in St. Paul's Anglican Church, 20 Young Road, Kanata. New members are welcome, especially tenors and basses.

The Kanata Choral Society has a subsidiary group of auditioned singers called the Chamber Choir which was started as a millennium project and will continue into the upcoming season.
